Easing our way to sales team recruitment

“Mai socha kuch seekh lunga; free hi tha mai,” reveals Ayan Malpekar, as he recounts his decision to enroll in IT training at Pratham Infotech Foundation after completing his 12 th standard in Vadala. Turns out, it was the best decision of his life!

Within 1-2 months, he learnt Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and WordPad. Then, happened Channelplay, offering him a place in its Apple part-time iPro program.

“Maine toh ye bhi nahi socha tha kabhi Apple chalaunga. Aur ab mahine me 30 iPhones bech leta hun,” he exclaims proudly.

We keep discussing the unconnected dots between jobs and jobseekers in India. (well, our previous emails did.) Amidst this, our ability to bridge this gap so efficiently might warrant some acknowledgement.

Job portals and jobseeker references are just a few ways we ‘play’ the recruitment game. Channelplay’s recruiters also engage with capable students from NGOs that provide digital training and upskill underprivileged children. We prepare them for our projects and subsequently offer them diverse sales roles.

CSR? Perhaps not.

Bhagyashree Dalvi, Senior Recruitment Manager at Channelplay, shares, “With 40 candidates shortlisted, and 23 onboarded for Airtel Payments Bank from Pratham Infotech Foundation in just one month, we’d like to believe we are making a difference.”
