The Value-Added Services vertical of Tata Nexarc provides a one-stop solution for Steel fabrication requirements, from design to delivery. Job Profile:

The core responsibilities of a Project Delivery and Ops Executive (PDOE) includes monitoring the supply chain partners to prevent any disruptions in the production process. The incumbent shall be accountable for the progress of project as per the project schedule from the point of Raw Material Ordering to Delivery. They Shall be stationed at the Supply Chain Partner’s Location, and shall be responsible for monitoring, internal and external reporting of project progress (Daily Production Reports, Inspection Calls, Logistics Movements etc.) and expediting the deliveries. The PDOE analyse and troubleshoot supply issues, ensuring any potential delays are addressed promptly. They will be the single point contact with suppliers to align delivery schedules and arranging for expedited shipments when necessary.

Profile Accountabilities:

• Review production schedules and purchase orders to determine priority of deliveries.

• Monitor C Ensure Project Progress at Vendor / Supply Chain Partner’s (SCP) Location and Delivery of the project deliverables within Cost, Quality and Delivery Parameters defined.

• Resolve supply, quality, service, and invoicing issues with suppliers.
  ‍
• Generate reports detailing supply chain performance and inventory levels (Daily / Weekly Production Reports, Schedule Monitoring C Recovery Plans).
  ‍
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and project execution strategies.
  ‍
• Work with Quality team to ensure First time right and compliance to company’s Quality Control Plans.

• Coordinate for Client Inspection Call, Readiness at SCP location, Delivery Documentation, Final Documents Dossier, LogisticsAvailability.

Skills and Knowledge:

Qualifications:

• Diploma/ Graduate (BE/BTech) or Postgraduate (ME/MTech) (Civil / Mechanical)

Work experience:

• 5-10 years’ experience in Project Management, Fabrication Production Planning C Control, Expediting, Operations C Delivery

Required skills

• Experience in Handling Fabrication and Supply Projects, especially involving Structural Steel Fabrication.

• Experience in managing projects catering to reputed clients including Prominent EPC companies, OEMs, Govt PSU etc.|
  ‍
• Expertise in Project Management Tools like MS Projects, Primavera etc. Hands on experience on preparing Gantt Chart, PERT, CCMP, Risk Register, Work Breakdown Structure.
  ‍
• Expertise in Project Planning and Scheduling including knowledge of preparation of Nesting Plans, Plate Cutting Layouts, Production and Planning SOPs and Procedures.
  ‍
• Sound Understanding of Contractual Terms C Conditions including payment terms, Credit period price variation clauses, Liquidated Damages, Defect Liability etc. Experience in handling Change Order, Credit / Debit Notes, Extra  Claim, Reconciliation.

• Knowledge C Understanding of Engineering Drawing, Structural Steel Designs, Erection Drawing and Manufacturing Processes like Cutting, Bending, Rolling, Welding, Shot Blasting, Painting.
