Family Engagement Activity for Electrician Loyalty Program

The brief given by the client was to conceptualize and execute an activity which would engage the families of dealers and electricians in their distribution network. After evaluating multiple ideas we ran a competition for the children of electricians and retailers titled “Simon Shining Stars” where the children had to submit paintings and essays on the theme of “National Science Day”. The program led to lot of participation and engagement with the partners’ families and improved the connect the organisation had with their trade partners.

The key activities in project execution involved:

  • Conceptualising the event to deliver on client’s brief
  • Coming up with theme and framework for the competition
    • Drawing contest for children aged between 5-9 years
    • Essay Writing contest for children aged 10-15 years
    • Theme was “National Science Day” celebrated on 28th Feb 2018
  • Branded kits with A3 size drawing/writing sheet with instructions were fabricated and sent to Channel Sales Officers of the client
  • Telecalling and SMS broadcast was done to all partners to inform them of the activity and invite participation
  • Entries submitted at the retail points were collated and evaluated at the head office
  • Best entries and couple of lucky winners were selected and awarded prizes ranging from headphones, model solar systems to Bicycles and Cricket kits

The program was a success and the key highlights were as follows:

  • Massive participation of 323 entries spanning all the geographies with presence of client
